FACEIT Launches Cache-Only Queue Ahead of CS2 Premier Season 5

FACEIT Cache Queue Launches Before CS2 Premier Season 5

With Cache set to join the active map pool in the next CS2 Premier season, FACEIT has introduced a new way for players to prepare before the update goes live.

The platform has launched a Cache-only matchmaking queue, allowing players to practice the map in a competitive environment before it officially arrives in Valve's Premier mode.

FACEIT Cache Queue Launches Before CS2 Premier Season 5

Unlike standard FACEIT matches, the dedicated Cache queue has a reduced ELO impact. Every match awards +5 ELO for a win and -5 ELO for a loss, making it an ideal option for learning lineups, testing strategies, and getting comfortable with the map without risking significant rating.

The timing is no coincidence. Premier Season 4 ends on July 6, and Season 5 will introduce Cache to the active map pool while Overpass is removed. FACEIT's new queue gives players a head start before the map becomes part of the official competitive rotation.
