s1mple: "My Biggest Goal in CS2 Is Winning a Major"

Legendary Ukrainian AWPer Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, who currently plays for BCGame, has revealed his biggest goal in Counter-Strike 2. According to the star player, winning a Major remains the ultimate achievement he wants to accomplish.

In a video published on BCGame's Instagram, s1mple explained that, despite the prestige of other events, lifting a Major trophy is still his top priority.

"I think the most important thing is to win a Major, not IEM Cologne. For me, the biggest goal in CS2 is winning a Major. But of course, it would be great to help Magisk win IEM Cologne."

Since the release of CS2 in September 2023, s1mple has yet to win a major international tournament. At the time of writing, BCGame sits in 145th place in the Valve rankings, outside the invitation zone for top-tier events. It is worth noting, however, that the ranking still reflects the organization's previous roster.
