BLAST Bounty 2026 S2 CS2 opening matches

The organizers of the BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 in Counter-Strike 2 have revealed the names of the participating teams, the tournament format, and opening round matches. The online stage of the competition will run from July 21 to 26, with the eight best teams advancing to the LAN finals in Malta from July 30 to August 2.

Thirty-two teams will be competing in the tournament. Twenty-eight teams were invited to the event according to the VRS global rankings as of June 2, while four more teams got invitations through the wildcard. Some of the teams that are not taking part in the competition include Natus Vincere, 9z, BetBoom, Legacy, and PARIVISION.

BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 will run in the single elimination format. Before the start of the first round, the draft was organized, with teams from the bottom of the seeding choosing their opponents among the top-seeded teams.

BLAST Open Porto 2026 Invites Announced

Total prize pool in BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 will be $1.15 million, out of which $500,000 will be given away as prize money, whereas $650,000 will be distributed among the clubs as the club share. Most distinguishing aspect of the format is the “bounty” system, whereby the team that wins a game gets 50% of its opponent's "bounty" and the rest is carried forward to increase their total bounty.
