Astralis could make two changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster. According to HLTV, the Danish organization is already exploring the market for possible replacements for Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen and Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard.
The news comes just a few days after Astralis won Stake Ranked Episode 4 in Barcelona. The title was the organization’s first LAN trophy in almost seven years, making the potential roster changes particularly surprising.
One of the main reasons could be the expiring contracts of several players. According to sources, jabbi’s deal runs until the end of November, while HooXi is under contract until the end of 2026. Staehr’s agreement is also approaching its expiration.
Astralis wants to avoid a situation where part of its starting lineup could leave the organization for free. At the same time, negotiations between the club and the players over new contracts have reportedly reached an impasse.
Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek is reportedly one of the candidates to join Astralis. The former MOUZ captain recently officially left Liquid after spending around three months on the bench and is currently looking for a new team.
It is not yet known who Astralis is considering as the second potential addition or when the changes could take place.
Following their victory in Barcelona, the Danish team moved into the top 10 of the global VRS ranking and, according to HLTV’s latest calculations, has practically secured a place at PGL Major Singapore 2026.
