HLTV.org has published another update to its ranking of the world’s best Counter-Strike 2 teams. One of the biggest changes of the week was Vitality’s return to second place following a successful run at StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026.
At the tournament in Barcelona, Vitality claimed the championship title after defeating Aurora 3:1 in the grand final. The result allowed the team to improve its position in the HLTV ranking. At the same time, Falcons dropped several places and now sits in fifth.
MIBR also made a significant jump. The Brazilian team climbed six positions, moving from 18th to 12th. NRG showed even more impressive progress, gaining 24 places and entering the world top 24.
Other teams also saw changes in their positions. B8 now occupies 14th place, while BetBoom Team dropped to 15th. Inner Circle, M80, and JiJieHao also showed positive movement over the past week.
At the same time, several teams lost ground. Among those that dropped compared with the previous update were 9z, The MongolZ, and magic.

The HLTV ranking is updated weekly and reflects teams’ current form based on their recent results. Performances from the previous two months carry the most weight, although achievements over a longer period are also taken into account. The influence of older results gradually decreases, meaning strong performances at recent events can significantly change a team’s position in the standings.
