ESL has announced that IEM Cologne 2027 will take place from August 4-15, with the playoffs scheduled for August 12-15 at the LANXESS Arena.

The playoff stage will feature a new 360-degree setup, giving spectators a view of the action from all sides of the arena.

ESL FACEIT Group’s Director of Counter-Strike, Marc Winther, said the success of this year’s Cologne Major once again demonstrated the importance of Cologne to the Counter-Strike community. He noted that extending the LANXESS Arena playoffs to four days and introducing a 360-degree stage would allow ESL to organize its most ambitious Cologne event yet while preserving the tournament’s long-standing legacy.
