AK-47 Bloodsport: Prices, Floats & Why It Never Leaves the Meta
AK-47 Bloodsport: Prices, Floats & Why It Never Leaves the Meta

AK-47 | Bloodsport is one of those skins that never needed a rare pattern or unusual history to become one of the most recognizable options for the AK-47. It was released on March 15, 2017, alongside the Take a trip to the Canals update, became part of The Spectrum Collection, and can be obtained from the Spectrum Case. The design was created by artist SLIMEface.
The main reason Bloodsport is so recognizable is its saturated red design, which resembles the livery of a racing car. The weapon body features white logos, technical markings, small yellow details, and graphics over a black-and-red base.
In 2026, the skin remains noticeable both on the market and in player inventories, while the price difference between some wear conditions is much smaller than with many other expensive AK-47 skins.

How Much Does AK-47 Bloodsport Cost in 2026?
As of early October 2026, regular Bloodsport versions cost approximately:
Factory New: $176
Minimal Wear: $141
Field-Tested: $126
Well-Worn: $125
One interesting detail about Bloodsport is the unusually small difference between FT and WW. With many skins, moving to a worse wear condition noticeably lowers the price, but here Well-Worn can sometimes sell for almost the same amount as Field-Tested. This is partly connected to the way the finish wears and the lower supply of WW examples.
How Does Float Affect AK-47 Bloodsport?
Bloodsport has a float range of 0.00–0.45, so the skin is available in only four wear conditions:
Factory New: 0.00–0.07
Minimal Wear: 0.07–0.15
Field-Tested: 0.15–0.38
Well-Worn: 0.38–0.45
There is no Battle-Scarred version because the maximum float ends at 0.45.
The most interesting part, however, is how the skin wears. Bloodsport does not develop the usual large scratches or heavily chipped paint. As float increases, the surface becomes darker because of a patina-like effect. The red loses some of its brightness, but the main logos and overall composition remain clearly visible even close to the maximum float.
That is why low float is not as critical here as it is on skins where higher wear destroys a large part of the artwork.
Which Bloodsport Condition Should You Choose?
If you want the brightest possible red color, Factory New remains the obvious choice. With a float below 0.03, the surface looks especially clean and saturated, although sellers may ask for an additional premium for extremely low values.
From a price-to-appearance perspective, Minimal Wear looks more interesting. It is cheaper than FN, while the difference during normal gameplay is not especially large.
An even more practical option is a good Field-Tested example, especially with a float closer to 0.15–0.20. The main design remains intact, while the price can be roughly one-third lower than Factory New.
Even Well-Worn should not automatically be considered a bad option for Bloodsport. The skin becomes darker, but there are almost no severe scratches across the body. Because of that, opening Inspect on a specific item is more useful than judging it only by the wear name.
How Much Does StatTrak Bloodsport Cost?
Bloodsport is also available in a StatTrak version, and the premium for the kill counter is fairly significant.
Approximate prices in early October 2026:
StatTrak Factory New: $412
StatTrak Minimal Wear: $316
StatTrak Field-Tested: $273
StatTrak Well-Worn: $270
This means that in some conditions, StatTrak can cost roughly twice as much as a regular Bloodsport.
Interestingly, StatTrak Well-Worn can sometimes cost the same as, or even slightly more than, Field-Tested. This is a good example of why CS2 skin pricing cannot be reduced to the simple idea that worse wear always means a lower price.
Bloodsport and Souvenir in 2026
The Souvenir situation changed in 2026. With the introduction of the Souvenir-O-Matic system for Cologne 2026, Valve allowed players to take a regular weapon from their inventory and convert it into a Souvenir item by selecting a completed match and player. Gold team, player, and map stickers are then applied to the weapon.
As a result, Souvenir AK-47 | Bloodsport examples have appeared as well. Their supply is still nowhere near that of regular versions: one current tracker counted only around 160–170 examples. Because the market is so small, prices can change quickly and depend heavily on the exact set of gold stickers.
Which Stickers Work Well With AK-47 Bloodsport?
Bloodsport already has plenty of text and small details, so stickers tend to look best when they are simple, easy to notice, and complement the red, white, and black color scheme. Red, black, gold, and holographic options are especially suitable.
Battle Scarred (Holo) is one of the most popular choices for red skins. The red claw marks work well with Bloodsport, while the Holo effect makes the craft stand out more. Both a single sticker and a full set can look good on this AK-47.
Hot Rod Heat is a more budget-friendly option. Its red-orange design continues the Bloodsport color palette without making the weapon feel too crowded. It is a good choice if you want to make the craft brighter without using expensive stickers.
Dragon Lore (Foil) works well for players who want to add gold details. The sticker stands out clearly against Bloodsport’s red-and-black surface, while the recognizable dragon makes the craft more interesting even without using a full set.
Crown (Foil) is a classic premium option. The gold crown creates strong contrast against the red body and has long been used in expensive crafts. Because of its high price, a single Crown in a prominent position is often enough.
When buying a completed craft, it is worth remembering that the full value of applied stickers does not transfer directly to the skin. The final price depends on the sticker itself, its position, and how well the overall combination works visually.
Why Does AK-47 Bloodsport Never Leave the Meta?
Several factors come together here. First, the AK-47 remains one of the central weapons in Counter-Strike, so good skins for it are constantly visible and in demand.
Second, Bloodsport barely depends on pattern and handles higher float values quite well. Buying a Field-Tested example and still getting the recognizable Bloodsport look is much easier than searching for a specific Pattern Index or paying a large premium for an almost perfect FN.
Third, the red, black, and white palette turned out to be versatile enough for different inventories and sticker crafts. Even nine years after release, the design does not feel tied exclusively to the visual style of older CS:GO.
Finally, the skin is still used by a noticeable number of professional players. Bloodsport is listed for 90 professionals, which corresponds to around 11.4% of tracked players using the AK-47. This is not an official Valve statistic, but it still shows that the skin continues to appear on the professional scene.

Is AK-47 Bloodsport Worth Buying in 2026?
Bloodsport remains a good option for players who want a premium AK-47 without moving into an extremely expensive price range. It has Covert rarity, a recognizable design, the Spectrum Case as its original source, a StatTrak version, and now even rare Souvenir examples.
For a regular play inventory, Minimal Wear and a good Field-Tested example are the most interesting options. Paying extra for Factory New mainly makes sense if you specifically want the brightest red color or a low-float example. Well-Worn is also worth considering separately: because of the way Bloodsport wears, it looks better than the exterior name might suggest.
Pattern Index can be almost completely ignored when choosing one. It is much more important to check float, surface tone, StatTrak or Souvenir status, and any already applied stickers.
You can also get AK-47 | Bloodsport from cases on Farmskins. It is currently available, for example, in: Exclusive,Covert,Covertknives,Armory,AK-47,The Boss,Pika,Hot Red, and Dynasty. Case contents can change over time, so it is worth checking the current item list on the specific case page before opening.
