What Is Trust Factor?

Trust Factor in CS2 is a special parameter assigned to every account. It evaluates player behavior: how often someone gets accused of cheating, toxicity, or griefing, whether they finish matches or leave mid-game. The idea is simple: a player with a green Trust Factor is considered polite and helpful, while a red Trust Factor is usually linked to toxic players and cheaters who constantly receive reports from both enemies and teammates.

There are three Trust Factor levels: green, yellow, and red. Usually, you will be matched with players who have a similar level of trust.

How to Check Your Trust Factor in CS2?

Trust Factor is hidden from players in the game client. However, if you queue with someone whose Trust Factor is very different from yours, a warning message will appear in the chat saying that your trust levels are too far apart. Matchmaking will also search based on the lowest Trust Factor in the lobby.

Never intentionally damage or kill teammates. You should also try to avoid getting reported during matches.
