The Rarest Knives in CS2 – Top Ultra-Rare, Expensive, and Elite Blades

Counter-Strike 2 is not only about shooting, precision, and reaction. It is also a game of style, where the appearance of your weapon often speaks louder about a player’s status than their rank. And among all skins, knives remain the main symbols of luxury, luck, and legendary fortune.

Rare knives are the currency of the CS2 world, like gold and diamonds in real life. They pass from hand to hand for thousands of dollars, become objects of pursuit for traders and collectors, and sometimes — legends people talk about for years.

Today we have compiled a selection of the rarest knives in CS2, featuring blades considered the pinnacle of status — rare CS2 knives, top high-tier knives of Counter-Strike 2, as well as the true elite of the market — the most expensive CS2 knives and ultra-rare knife skins.

Karambit | Case Hardened Blue Gem 387

The king of the rarest patterns and the absolute top among the rarest knives in CS2. Pattern 387, with an almost fully blue blade, is considered a “god-tier blue gem.” On the market, such knives cost as much as elite cars.

Butterfly Knife | Gamma Doppler Emerald

One of the most desired knives of the entire Doppler line. Butterfly Gamma Doppler is a combination of the iconic butterfly animation and emerald glow, which looks especially impressive on the curved blade form. The Emerald version is ultra-rare and costs more than most Ruby or Sapphire knives.

Average price: $7,000-20,000+

Cases: Glory,Dreams & Nightmares

Karambit | Doppler Ruby

Ruby karambits will always be listed among only the best high-tier knives. Ruby impresses with the pure red glow, as if the blade is carved from a precious gemstone. It is one of those few knife skins that consistently holds its value over years.

Cases: Luxury Knife,Tale,X-Speed,Farm Luxury

M9 Bayonet | Doppler Sapphire

Perhaps one of the most iconic and striking M9s to ever grace CS2, the Sapphire variation of the Doppler line is a feast to behold on the huge M9 blade: deep crystal blue glow, mirror-like reflections, and smooth, swirly patterns give one the impression this knife was forged from pure gemstone. On its level of rarity, it stands right next to the most prestigious karambits and butterflies, and the aesthetic just makes it one of the most sought-after high-tier knives in Counter-Strike 2.

Average price: $6,000-11,000

The combination of red and blue without yellow inclusions is a dream for aesthetics enthusiasts. The Perfect Fire & Ice has long been in the top few rare CS2 knives and is considered one of the most iconic patterns. Fire and Ice contrast especially expressively on the curve of a karambit, accentuating the aggressive lines of the blade and turning it into a full-fledged work of art.

Cases: Gungnir,Luxury Knife,Exclusive,MK,Eye-catching

M9 Bayonet | Crimson Web

Stiletto Knife | Doppler Black Pearl

One of the most underrated yet incredibly rare blades. Black Pearl is a purple-black pearlescent glow that appears less frequently than Sapphire or Ruby. For the Stiletto, this is an ultra-rare combination, valued by collectors who seek not mass patterns but true rarities.

Why Players Hunt for Rare CS2 Knives

Rare knives are not just beautiful skins. They have become part of the digital culture of Counter-Strike:

• Status. A player with a Karambit Blue Gem instantly earns respect — almost no one has seen such items in person.

• Investment. The most expensive CS2 knives grow in price faster than many cryptocurrencies.

• Uniqueness. Every blue gem is unique. Every full fade is a rarity. Such items become “digital works of art.”

• History. Every ultra-rare knife has a legend: whose inventory it came from, where it was found, who unboxed it.
