Donk Forced to Change PC Mid-Match vs G2 After Mouse Lag Issues at IEM Krakow

A rare technical incident took place during the Team Spirit vs G2 match at IEM Krakow, as star rifler Danil “donk” Kryshkovets was forced to change his PC mid-game due to serious mouse issues that affected his performance on the map.

During the match, donk paused the game and asked tournament officials for a hardware replacement after experiencing severe input problems. The player explained that his mouse was disconnecting for several seconds at a time, freezing whenever he moved the cursor and glitching during flicks. For a player known for his lightning-fast aim and aggressive playstyle, such issues can be devastating in high-pressure rounds, prompting organizers to step in and replace the PC.

Despite the equipment change, the map against G2 turned into a difficult one for the young superstar. Donk finished the map with a 9–18 scoreline — a very unusual stat line for one of the most dominant players on the tier-one scene. The situation highlights how even minor technical problems can significantly impact performance at the highest level of competition.

The incident does not affect Team Spirit’s tournament run, however. The team will still begin their IEM Krakow playoff journey directly from the semifinals, where they will continue fighting for the title.
