Esports World Cup 2026 CS2: 64 Qualifier Teams Revealed

The organizers of the Esports World Cup 2026 have officially revealed the seeding for the Counter-Strike 2 open qualifier. A total of 64 teams have been divided into 16 groups, with four spots in the main stage of the tournament up for grabs.

The open qualifier will take place as a large-scale LAN event from August 7 to 9. The field features several well-known organizations, including Team Liquid, HEROIC, Virtus.pro, BIG, Fnatic, NRG, 100 Thieves, and Eternal Fire, alongside lesser-known teams looking for an opportunity to earn their place at one of the biggest CS2 tournaments of the year.

A total of 64 teams will compete in the open LAN qualifier, but only four of them will advance to the main stage of the Esports World Cup 2026. This means the entire field will be battling for just four available spots at the championship.

The qualifying stage will run from August 7 to 9, with the main Counter-Strike 2 tournament kicking off eight days after the qualifier concludes.
