IEM Cologne Major 2026 Day Two: Teams to Fight for First Spots in Stage Two

The group stage of the IEM Cologne Major 2026 in Counter-Strike 2 will continue on June 3. On the second matchday, teams from the first group will play matches across three different brackets: 1-1, 2-0, and 0-2. For some teams, the day will be a chance to move closer to the next stage, while for others it will be the final opportunity to stay alive in the tournament.

The 1-1 bracket will feature best-of-1 matches. Sharks Esports will face Lynn Vision Gaming, NRG will meet FlyQuest, Team Liquid will take on MIBR, and BIG will play against THUNDERdOWNUNDER. The winners of these matchups will improve their position in the group, while the losing teams will move into a more dangerous zone.

Special attention will be on the 2-0 and 0-2 matches, which will be played in a best-of-3 format. BetBoom Team will face GamerLegion, while M80 will meet B8. The winners of these series will secure their places in the second stage of the tournament.

In the lower part of the bracket, TYLOO will battle SINNERS, while Gaimin Gladiators will play against HEROIC. For these teams, a defeat will mean elimination from the IEM Cologne Major 2026, making every mistake especially costly.

IEM Cologne Major 2026 is taking place in Germany from June 2 to 21 in a LAN format. The final stage of the tournament will be held at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne.
