jL Officially Joins Vitality as a Stand-In

Team Vitality has officially announced the addition of Justinas “jL” Lekavicius. The Lithuanian CS2 player will step in as a stand-in for the team at two upcoming tournaments – BLAST Open Fall and PGL Masters Bucharest.

At BLAST Open Fall, jL will replace William “mezii” Merriman, who will miss the tournament due to family reasons as he is expecting the birth of his first child.

The Lithuanian will later return to help Vitality at PGL Masters Bucharest. This time, team captain Dan “apEX” Madesclaire will be absent, as he is also preparing to become a father for the first time.

The move will see jL temporarily return to the top level of competition as part of one of the strongest teams in the world. Bringing in the experienced Lithuanian should allow Vitality to maintain a competitive roster despite the absence of key players.

CS2 Tournament Calendar H2 2026

BLAST Open Fall is set to begin in late August, while PGL Masters Bucharest will take place in late October.
