Maden to Replace Tauson for GamerLegion in IEM Beijing 2026 Qualifier

GamerLegion will compete with Pavle “maden” Bošković as a stand-in during the closed qualifier for IEM Beijing 2026. The former Fnatic player will replace Sebastian “Tauson” Tauson Lindelof, who is unable to participate due to health issues.

GamerLegion announced the temporary roster change on X. It is currently unclear when Tauson will be able to return to the active lineup.

The IEM Beijing 2026 closed qualifier will take place from September 2 to 4. A total of 16 teams will compete for two spots at the main event. B8 Esports, K27 and BIG are among the other teams set to participate in the qualification stage.

Maden will therefore step into the GamerLegion lineup for an important opportunity to secure a place at IEM Beijing 2026. The Montenegrin player previously represented Fnatic and will temporarily fill the vacancy left by Tauson.

GamerLegion have several more tournaments scheduled after the IEM Beijing qualifier. The team is expected to compete at FISSURE Playground #3, Logitech G Play Connect 2026 and Private Club #1.

For now, there is no confirmed date for Tauson’s return, meaning his availability for GamerLegion’s upcoming events remains uncertain.
