Passion UA Move Grim to the Bench

Ukrainian esports organization Passion UA have announced another roster change in their Counter-Strike 2 lineup. The club has moved 25-year-old American player Michael “Grim” Wince to the bench. The official statement was published on the team’s page on X.

Grim joined Passion UA in August last year. Prior to that, he spent more than three and a half years with Complexity, where he was regarded as one of the most consistent North American riflers. Over the past three months, he posted an average rating of 1.11 across 46 maps, demonstrating solid individual form despite the team’s inconsistent results.

Wince’s spot in the starting five has been taken by Munkhbold “Senzu” Azbayar. A few days ago, he joined the team on loan from The MongolZ. The signing of the young Mongolian player may indicate Passion UA’s intention to add more aggression and individual firepower to their gameplay.

The decision follows disappointing performances at major tournaments. Passion UA finished last at BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 1 and IEM Kraków 2026. The team currently sits in the top 35 of the Valve global ranking, but the results clearly fall short of the organization’s ambitions.

It is worth noting that this is not the first recent roster move - earlier, Håkon “hallzerk” Fjørli was also moved to the bench.
