s1mple Comments on BCGame’s Loss to 100 Thieves in EWC 2026 Qualifier

BCGame AWPer Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev reflected on his team’s performance in the Counter-Strike 2 qualifier for Esports World Cup 2026. Following the end of the tournament, the Ukrainian player acknowledged that the team was capable of performing at a much higher level.

According to s1mple, BCGame could and would play better. He noted that the result once again felt as though the team had defeated itself. Kostyliev also thanked the fans for their support throughout the tournament.

BCGame ended its run in the Esports World Cup 2026 qualifier after failing to secure a spot at the main event. In the second round of the qualifier playoffs, the team faced 100 Thieves and lost the three-map series 1–2.

The defeat to 100 Thieves therefore brought BCGame’s qualifying campaign to an end. Judging by s1mple’s comments, the team intends to work on its game and address its mistakes ahead of upcoming competitions.
