Sashi Sign TjP and Hatz, Target Asian VRS Ranking

Danish organization Sashi has announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The team has moved Mikkel "MistR" Thomsen and Kasper "Cabbi" Jensen to the bench, replacing them with two Australian players - Tynan "TjP" Purtell and Jordan "Hatz" Bajic.

The decision is connected to Sashi’s desire to improve its position in the Asian VRS ranking and increase its chances of receiving an invitation to the PGL Major Singapore 2026.

“This time, we chose a different path, setting ourselves the goal of entering the Asian VRS. Let’s see how far we can go. In the meantime, MistR and Cabbi will step away from the starting lineup for the next month.”

TjP spent the past year representing THUNDER dOWNUNDER, while Hatz had been inactive since leaving Rooster in 2024. Thanks to the addition of the two Australians and Anlelele’s Vietnamese citizenship, Sashi is now inside the top five of the Asian VRS ranking and can compete for a Major spot through the region.

Sashi currently sits 73rd in Valve’s official world ranking. The first test for the updated lineup will be the qualifiers for 1win Private Club Season 2. The team will also compete at Stake Pulse Beat III in Sweden.
