Valve has shared a new Counter-Strike 2 video featuring an agent petting a newly hatched chick. The clip was posted on the official Counter-Strike social media account.
On September 23, Valve quietly added a new mechanic that allows CS2 players to raise chickens. While chickens have long been an iconic part of Counter-Strike, this is the first time players have been able to interact with them in this way.
The community has compared the feature to a Tamagotchi. Players first obtain an egg, hatch a chick, and then raise it while unlocking different interactions.
