FaZe Clan are considering the possibility of signing Turkish AWPer Özgür “woxic” Eker, who is currently playing for Aurora Gaming in Counter-Strike 2. This was reported by journalists from Flank Esports, citing their own sources. At the time of publication, neither side had officially confirmed or denied the information.
If the rumor is confirmed, woxic would likely take the place of Helvijs “broky” Saukants. Such a move could become one of the most discussed transfers in the near future, given FaZe’s status and the Turkish player’s experience on the international stage.
Woxic has represented Aurora Gaming since April 2025. During that period, the team managed to achieve notable results, including winning PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 and reaching the final of ESL Pro League Season 23, where the squad finished second. These achievements have only increased interest in the player from other organizations.
Additional intrigue around the situation also comes from Aurora’s own future. Earlier, caster Chad “SPUNJ” Burchill reported that the club could switch to an international roster. According to him, the organization is considering signing Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen and Danil “molodoy” Golubenko after the end of IEM Cologne Major 2026.
If the transfer happens, FaZe Clan’s potential CS2 lineup could look like this:
Özgür “woxic” Eker
Finn “karrigan” Andersen
David “frozen” Čerňanský
Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken
Jakub “jcobbb” Pietruszewski

For now, the story remains at the rumor stage, but woxic’s possible move already looks like one of the most intriguing transfer storylines on the professional CS2 scene.
