Zonic Names m0NESY as Falcons’ Main Player

Team Falcons’ CS2 head coach Danny “zonic” Sørensen has explained how the team established a clear hierarchy despite having several star players on the roster. According to the coach, Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov occupies the central role in Falcons’ system.

In an interview at BLAST Open Fall 2026, zonic explained that the coaching staff tries to maintain honesty within the team while making each player’s role as clear as possible. He noted that m0NESY is the player around whom Falcons primarily build their game.

According to Sørensen, having such a structure is particularly important for a roster featuring several players with strong individual ambitions. The coach acknowledged that there are moments when the staff notices that m0NESY is not receiving the support he needs, but the team works to address those situations.

Zonic added that every Falcons player needs to understand how the team operates and who the lineup is primarily playing around. In his view, the coaching staff has done a good job of establishing this system, meaning the players generally understand the hierarchy within the team.
