What is Target Mode?
We’re continuing to improve the case-opening experience by adding new features that give you more control over the outcome. And here’s some great news — we’re launching Target Mode! This is a new mode for the classic case lineup that significantly changes the familiar opening process.
How does it work? It’s simple: activate Target Mode, and all low-value items are instantly removed from the case. Only skins that are worth more than the case itself remain. Then you choose one specific skin from the list — that becomes your target. All other options are excluded. As a result, you’ll receive either your selected skin or a compensation drop.
This approach shifts case opening from pure randomness to a more strategic experience. You decide what you’re aiming for and take a calculated risk with a clear goal in mind.
How to enable Target Mode
Go to the classic cases section and choose the case you want to open. Keep in mind that Target Mode is only available for the classic lineup.
Open the case page and enable the Target Mode toggle.
The system will automatically update the case contents — low-value skins will be removed, leaving only higher-value options.
Choose one skin from the list — this is your target.
Open the case. You will either receive your selected skin or a compensation drop.
