Astralis continued their confident run at PGL Bucharest 2026 in Counter-Strike 2 and advanced to the semifinals of the tournament. In the quarterfinals, Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen’s team defeated EYEBALLERS 2-1, keeping their status as an unbeaten squad at the event after a successful 3-0 group stage.
The series began on Mirage, where the Swedish side came out on top. Despite Astralis winning the pistol round, EYEBALLERS quickly took control and went into halftime with a 7-5 lead. In the second half, Jesper “JW” Wecksell became the key player for his team: first he helped secure the pistol round, and then he delivered a spectacular ace, finishing it with a no-scope AWP kill. In the end, EYEBALLERS closed out their map pick 13-8.
On Ancient, the Swedish squad was also close to a major upset. EYEBALLERS led 11-4, while maxster delivered a crucial 1v3 clutch that put Astralis on the verge of elimination. However, the Danish team managed to regroup, came back into the game, and edged out their opponents in overtime - 16-14.
The deciding map, Inferno, was completely controlled by Astralis. The team looked confident on the defense, finished the first half with a 10-2 lead, and then quickly closed out the match with a 13-2 scoreline.
3DMAX reached the PGL Bucharest 2026 semifinals after defeating MIBR
In the PGL Bucharest 2026 semifinals, Astralis will face 3DMAX. The match is scheduled for April 11. For EYEBALLERS, the next LAN event will be Tipsport Conquest of Prague 2026, which begins on April 12.
