Esports World Cup 2026 Groups Revealed for Counter-Strike 2

The organizers of the Esports World Cup 2026 have revealed the group-stage draw for the Counter-Strike 2 tournament. A total of 32 teams have been divided into four groups of eight.

The groups are as follows:

Group A: Team Spirit, Aurora Gaming, G2 Esports, GamerLegion, Luminosity, M80, BIG, and JiJieHao.

Group B: Team Falcons, Legacy, BB Team, Astralis, MIBR.LOS, FaZe Clan, Ninjas in Pyjamas EStar, and K27 Esports.

Group C: Team Vitality, MOUZ, FUT Esports, B8 Esports, PARIVISION, TYLOO, Lynn Vision Gaming, and 100 Thieves.

Group D: Natus Vincere, FURIA, 9z Globant, The MongolZ, Magic, paiN Gaming, Wildcard, and 3DMAX.

The group stage will feature a Double-Elimination (GSL) format. The opening matches will be played as best-of-one (Bo1) series, while the following matches will be best-of-three (Bo3). A total of 16 teams will advance to the playoffs, which will use a Single-Elimination format.

The EWC 2026 Counter-Strike 2 tournament will take place from August 12 to August 23 in Paris. The event will feature a $2 million prize pool, with the champion set to be crowned following a best-of-five grand final.

Several groups already promise exciting battles between some of the biggest names in Counter-Strike. Group A features Spirit, Aurora, and G2, while Group B includes Falcons, Astralis, and FaZe. Group C brings together Vitality and MOUZ, while Group D features NAVI, FURIA, and The MongolZ.
