FaZe Unveil Academy Roster FaZe Up Next

FaZe have officially unveiled their new Counter-Strike 2 academy roster, named FaZe Up Next. Former professional player Nicklas “gade” Gade, known for his time with OpTic, North, and BIG, has been appointed as the team’s head coach.
During his playing career, gade competed at three Majors and won several notable tournaments, including DreamHack Open Sevilla 2019. The Danish former player will now move into coaching and will be responsible for developing young talent within FaZe’s academy project.
In addition to gade, the project will receive support from Robert “RobbaN” Dahlström. The legendary FaZe coach will take on the role of Head of CS for the academy division and will oversee the development of the roster.
FaZe Up Next features five players from different countries. The most experienced member of the lineup is 19-year-old Alan “yoom” Groot, who previously played for Genk, Fisher College, and FUT Academy. He has 82 maps recorded on HLTV, with one of his main results being a fourth-place finish at United21 League Season 44.
The roster also includes Antal “Cher1on” Lubbers and Gert “klyrO” Truupõld, who previously competed mostly at the regional level in the British and Baltic scenes. The team is completed by Serbian player Stefan “k0rdy” Trudic and Ukrainian player rec1se.
