Hally to Miss IEM Rio and PGL Astana

Team Spirit have announced a temporary change in their coaching staff ahead of two major upcoming events. Sergey “hally” Shavayev will miss both IEM Rio and PGL Astana due to health reasons.

The organization stated that hally will take time off to fully recover and return in peak condition for preparation leading into the IEM Cologne Major.

Stepping in as a temporary replacement will be Spirit Academy coach Dmitry “S0tF1k” Forostyanko. This marks an important opportunity for him to work with the main roster on the tier-one stage during high-level international competition.

In addition, Team Spirit will debut a new addition to their support staff at IEM Rio, as sports psychologist Vladimir Petrov will join the team on-site. This move highlights the organization’s continued focus on mental performance during a demanding tournament schedule.

IEM Rio will take place in Brazil from April 13 to April 19, while PGL Astana is scheduled for May 7–17 in Kazakhstan. These events will serve as a crucial test for Spirit’s adjusted coaching setup ahead of the IEM Cologne Major.
