HLTV Names the Best Young CS2 Players – xelex Tops the Ranking

HLTV has unveiled its ranking of the 50 most promising young CS2 players for August 2026. Adrian “xelex” Vincze of MOUZ took the top spot.

Second place went to Klimentiy “kl1m” Krivosheev from the G2 academy roster, while Inner Circle rifler David “Dawy” Bibik rounded out the top three. A total of 14 Russian players made the ranking – one more than in the May edition.

HLTV also recently updated its CS2 world team ranking. Team Falcons remain in first place, while MOUZ climbed to fifth after winning BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2. Team Vitality dropped to fourth place for the first time in two years.
