m0NESY Reveals Cloud9 Offer and Talks About a Potential Move to Spirit

Star AWPer Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov revealed that he did, in fact, receive an offer from Cloud9 in 2023, confirming the rumors that were widely discussed within the CS community at the time.

According to m0NESY, the potential move looked promising, but switching teams depends on much more than just the player’s own decision.

“In 2023, I received an offer from Cloud9. I think we would’ve worked well together. But damn, it’s just not easy to leave one organization for another – not everything depends on you.”

m0NESY also discussed other teams he could potentially play for. When asked whether he would consider joining Team Spirit if Falcons disbanded their current roster, the AWPer replied:

“Sure, why not?”

Rumors about m0NESY potentially joining Cloud9 had already been circulating back in 2023, but the transfer never materialized. Now, the player himself has confirmed that the organization’s interest was real.
