PGL Bucharest 2026: All Teams Confirmed

The full team list for PGL Bucharest 2026 has now been officially confirmed. The LAN tournament will take place from April 3 to April 11 in Bucharest, Romania, where 16 teams will compete for a $1,250,000 prize pool.

This will be the first major international CS2 event of 2026 that does not impact qualification for the IEM Cologne Major. Although the tournament begins before the Valve Regional Standings cutoff, it concludes after it, meaning the results will not count toward Major invitations.

That detail makes PGL Bucharest 2026 one of the most unique events on the calendar this season. It offers high level LAN competition without the added pressure of ranking points.

The following teams received direct invitations based on Valve rankings and previous results:

  • PARIVISION

  • The MongolZ

  • Astralis

  • FaZe Clan

  • FUT Esports

  • NRG

  • B8

  • 3DMAX

  • Legacy

  • BC.Game Esports

  • paiN Gaming

  • M80

Among the invited teams, PARIVISION and The MongolZ stand out as consistent contenders capable of challenging top tier opponents. At the same time, much of the lineup consists of mid tier teams or rosters currently rebuilding and looking to establish themselves internationally.

Four additional teams secured their spots through regional qualifiers:

  • Imperial Esports from South America

  • The Huns from Asia

  • Voca from North America

  • FOKUS from Europe

For these teams, participation alone is a significant achievement. A strong run in Bucharest could become a turning point in their 2026 campaign.

With no impact on Major qualification, PGL Bucharest 2026 features a noticeably different competitive landscape. Several top tier organizations have chosen to focus on ranking events instead, creating space for ambitious teams eager to prove themselves.

While the absence of multiple elite title favorites may reduce the number of blockbuster matchups, it also creates a rare and balanced competitive environment. There is no overwhelming favorite, and every playoff spot will be earned the hard way.

For developing rosters and teams in transition, Bucharest represents an opportunity to gain crucial LAN experience, build confidence, and demonstrate that they belong on bigger stages. In a packed CS2 calendar, chances like this do not come often.
