ScreaM returned to the professional Counter-Strike scene after seven years

Belgian player Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom has officially returned to the professional Counter-Strike scene. The veteran’s new club is Clutchain, as the team announced on social media. For ScreaM, this is a full return to Valve’s shooter after a seven-year break.

In the new lineup, he will play alongside his brother Nabil “Nivera” Benrlitom. Clutchain have also signed French players Jayson “Kyojin” Nguyen, Jordan “Python” Munck-Foehrle, and SHOGU. As a result, an international roster has been built around ScreaM, one that has already attracted the community’s attention thanks to the well-known names and the players’ experience.

ScreaM began his professional career back in 2010 and for a long time remained one of the most recognizable players in Counter-Strike. In 2019, he left GamerLegion and stepped away from competing in CS tournaments, after which he continued his career in Valorant. Later, in 2025, the Belgian briefly appeared in the Counter-Strike ecosystem as a stand-in for FUT Esports, and then became a content creator for the club.

ScreaM officially announced his intention to return to CS in early January, and by April his new team had already qualified for the online stage of Conquest of Prague 2026. This makes Benrlitom’s comeback not just a media story, but a real attempt to establish himself on the competitive scene once again.
