Valve is reportedly working on its own artificial intelligence system that will be tied to user support. This was reported by dataminer Maxim “Gabe Follower” Poletaev, who discovered corresponding mentions in the code.
According to the description that was found, the alleged AI bot is intended to help resolve issues related to Steam support. At the same time, the code also suggests a connection between the new system and the hidden Trust Score rating, as well as Counter-Strike 2 anti-cheat mechanisms. For now, it remains unclear how deep this integration will be and what exact role artificial intelligence will play in Valve’s services.
“Valve is working on SteamGPT, which appears to be designed to solve issues related to Steam support and is somehow connected to the Trust Score system and CS2 anti-cheat.”

At the moment, Valve itself has not made any official statements regarding the possible launch of such a system. Nevertheless, the discovery has already sparked discussion within the community, especially amid growing interest from major gaming companies in integrating AI into their own platforms and support services.
Additional interest in the situation is also fueled by another recent rumor related to the future of CS2. Earlier, dataminer Avi “Thour” Thour suggested that Valve could abandon the case system. According to rumors, this mechanic may allegedly disappear from the shooter entirely as early as 2026.
For now, all of this information remains at the level of leaks and speculation, but discussion around the possible SteamGPT has already become another notable topic surrounding Valve and Counter-Strike 2.
