Mathieu 'ZywOo' Herbaut continues to cement his legacy as one of the greatest snipers in Counter-Strike history. The French star of Team Vitality has officially overtaken Oleksandr 's1mple' Kostyliev in the number of maps played at Tier-1 tournaments, according to HLTV.
ZywOo has now reached 1008 maps, slightly ahead of s1mple, who sits at 1005. Notably, both players maintain an identical average rating of 1.25, highlighting just how closely matched they are in terms of individual performance at the highest level.

It’s important to consider the timeline behind these numbers. ZywOo made his debut at top-tier events in 2019, first appearing at IEM Katowice 2019. In contrast, s1mple’s journey on the big stage dates back to ESWC 2014, making the French player’s rapid rise even more impressive.
