All PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 Teams

Following the conclusion of the regional qualifiers, the complete list of 16 participants is:
Invited teams: Spirit, Vitality, MOUZ, FURIA, Legacy, FUT, G2, Aurora, Natus Vincere, BetBoom, 9z, and The MongolZ.
Regional qualifier winners: Liquid, TYLOO, DENDELE, and Nemiga.
The final four participants were confirmed on September 13. Liquid earned their spot through the North American qualifier, TYLOO won the Asian qualifier, DENDELE qualified from South America, and Nemiga came out on top in the European qualifier.
Nemiga looked particularly convincing during their qualifying run. The team went through the European qualifier without losing a series, defeating Inner Circle, SINNERS, 1win, and B8. They dropped just one map throughout the entire run.
Liquid had a much tougher road to Bucharest. The North American qualifier required the team to survive several difficult series, but Liquid delivered when it mattered most and secured their place among the 16 participants.
PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 Format
The group stage will use the Swiss System. All 16 teams begin in a single group, with every series played as a best-of-three.
Teams need three victories to advance to the playoffs, while three defeats mean elimination from the tournament. At the end of the Swiss Stage, the top eight teams will continue their fight for the championship.
The competition then moves into a traditional Single Elimination bracket. There is no room for mistakes at this stage, as one loss ends a team's title run. Playoff matches will be played as Bo3 series, while the champion will be decided in a Bo5 Grand Final.
This format should make the group stage especially unpredictable. Even a tournament favorite can quickly find itself in an elimination match after a poor start, while a qualifier team can reach the top eight with just a few strong performances.

Key PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 Storylines
Much of the attention will naturally be on the favorites. Spirit, Vitality, MOUZ, FURIA, and G2 are among the most dangerous teams in the field, while NAVI will have another opportunity to test their form against elite international competition.
Another major storyline involves the four teams coming through the qualifiers. Nemiga arrive after an almost flawless European qualifying campaign. TYLOO will get another chance to test themselves against some of the world's best teams. For DENDELE, the tournament is an opportunity to make a statement on the international stage, while Liquid will look to prove that their difficult qualifying campaign is firmly behind them.
The MongolZ, Aurora, FUT, Legacy, BetBoom, and 9z will also be worth watching. In a Swiss System, a few strong matches can completely change the tournament picture, so even the biggest favorites are not guaranteed a place in the playoffs.
PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 begins on October 24. We will keep this page updated as the tournament approaches, adding the schedule, group-stage results, standings, and playoff bracket as they become available.
