Farmskins has launched its Halloween event, Monsters vs Werewolves. This time, players can enjoy more than just themed cases. The event also features a battle between two teams, candies earned from case openings, and extra rewards. Players can join either the Monsters or Werewolves, help their faction win, and compete for skins from the prize pool.
Let's take a closer look at how the event works and what Farmskins has prepared for Halloween.

Monsters vs Werewolves: Battle of Two Factions
The main part of the event is a battle between Monsters and Werewolves. Players need to choose a side and start earning points for their team.
The rules are simple: every faction case opened adds 10 points to the team's total. All points are combined, and each team's progress is displayed on a shared progress bar. The more cases players open, the better their faction's chances of winning.
The event page lets players follow the battle in real time and switch teams using the Change Side button.
However, helping your team win isn't enough to claim a prize. You'll also need to finish among the top 10 players in your faction.
Candy Pumpkin: Exchange Candies for Skins

Another part of the Halloween event is all about collecting candies. Players earn them by opening cases and can then use them in the Candy Pumpkin section.
Here, you'll find a giant pumpkin that you can feed with your collected candies. The minimum amount required is 300 candies, and there's no maximum limit.
The more candies you spend, the more valuable your potential skin reward can be. You can use the minimum amount or keep collecting candies for a chance at a more expensive item.
To get a skin, simply choose how many candies you want to spend and click Feed Pumpkin. Your candies will be used, and you'll receive a skin in return.
This gives players another way to get rewards alongside the regular items they receive from opening cases.
Halloween Limited Cases: Five Themed Cases
Farmskins has also introduced a special Halloween Limited Cases collection. It includes five cases at different prices:
All five cases feature Halloween-themed designs and give players twice as many candies when opened. This makes it easier to collect enough candies for Candy Pumpkin.
Another important detail is that these cases are available in limited quantities. Their stock decreases as players open them, and once a case sells out, it becomes unavailable. This means some cases may disappear before the event itself ends.

Leaderboard and Prizes for the Winners
For players who enjoy competing, Farmskins has added a leaderboard. Each faction has its own ranking of the top 10 players who have earned the most points from opening faction cases.
Once the event ends, the top 10 players from the winning faction will receive prizes. The rewards depend on leaderboard placement, with the most valuable skins going to the highest-ranked players.
First place will receive a ★ Bayonet | Crimson Web, second place gets an M4A1-S | Fade, and third place earns a ★ Kukri Knife | Slaughter. The player finishing fourth will receive a USP-S | Kill Confirmed.
The remaining players in the top 10 will receive Farmskins cases. Players finishing fifth through seventh will get a Covertgloves case, while those in eighth through tenth place will receive a Covert case.
Keep in mind that only players from the winning faction will receive leaderboard rewards. Even if you finish first on your team's leaderboard, your faction still needs to win the overall battle for you to claim the prize.
The Farmskins Halloween event brings quite a few activities together. Alongside regular case openings, players can take part in a team competition, climb the leaderboard, and use Candy Pumpkin to exchange collected candies for skins.
The limited-edition cases with double candy rewards are worth checking out, while the leaderboard offers prizes that include expensive knives and popular CS2 skins.
The event is only available for a limited time, so anyone planning to participate should keep an eye on the countdown timer on the event page. Just remember that opening cases doesn't guarantee a return on your money, and winning leaderboard prizes depends on both your individual performance and your faction's final result.
