G2 Continue Their Run of Poor Tournament Results
The loss to Aurora confirmed the issues that G2 coach Eetu “sAw” Saha had already pointed out during PGL Masters Bucharest.
At the time, he spoke about the team’s stagnation, poor decision-making, and lack of coordination in the late stages of rounds.
G2 have now exited three consecutive tournaments in the group stage.
The team’s next event will be BLAST Rivals in Hong Kong, where G2 are set to face MOUZ before beginning their Singapore Major campaign from Stage 2.
Aurora, meanwhile, remain in contention at IEM Beijing 2026.
In the lower bracket semifinal, the team will face the loser of MOUZ vs BetBoom and continue fighting for a place in the playoffs.
