Six Teams Left as IEM Beijing 2026 Playoffs Begin

The IEM Beijing 2026 group stage is over, and all six playoff participants are now known. MOUZ and The MongolZ won their groups and advanced directly to the semifinals, while PARIVISION, NAVI, FURIA, and BetBoom will begin the decisive stage from the quarterfinals.

The playoffs will use a Single Elimination format, meaning any loss can now end a team’s run at the tournament. The quarterfinals and semifinals will be played as best-of-three series, while the grand final will be best-of-five. The tournament in Beijing will conclude on November 8.

PARIVISION Will Face NAVI

The first quarterfinal will feature PARIVISION against NAVI. The Russian lineup reached the playoffs through the upper bracket, but after losing 0:2 to MOUZ, they failed to qualify directly for the semifinals.

NAVI had a much longer path. The team dropped into the lower bracket but comfortably defeated Falcons 2:1 in the decisive match, including dominant 13:4 and 13:3 wins on Inferno and Mirage.

The winner of PARIVISION vs NAVI will face The MongolZ in the semifinals. The Mongolian team upset FURIA in the Group A first-place match and avoided the quarterfinal stage.

FURIA Will Play BetBoom

On the other side of the bracket, FURIA will face BetBoom. The Brazilians had a chance to qualify directly for the semifinals, but their loss to The MongolZ sent the world’s No. 1 team into the quarterfinals.

BetBoom earned their playoff spot through the Group B lower bracket. After losing to MOUZ, the team defeated Aurora and Liquid in consecutive series to keep their title hopes alive.

The winner of this matchup will face MOUZ. This means a potential MOUZ vs FURIA semifinal could already happen in the next round, despite both teams being considered among the main favorites for the tournament.

IEM Beijing 2026 features 16 teams and a total prize pool of $1.25 million. MOUZ and The MongolZ have already guaranteed themselves at least a top-four finish, while the remaining four teams now have no room for error.

After The MongolZ’s unexpected victory over FURIA, the bracket became especially interesting: MOUZ and FURIA ended up on the same side, while NAVI received a potential path through PARIVISION and The MongolZ. With the group stage now behind them, the fight for the main trophy will continue in the elimination matches.
