Liquid Nearly Let Mirage Slip Away
On the opening map, Liquid controlled the game for a long time. The team finished the first half with an 8:4 lead and then extended the score to 11:4, but TYLOO managed to fight their way back into the match and began winning rounds one after another. The Chinese lineup saved four consecutive match points and closed the gap to just one round at 11:12.
Liquid still managed to prevent the map from going into overtime and won the final round of regulation, closing Mirage 13:11. EliGE played the key role on the first map, recording 25 kills and becoming the team’s main force in the most tense moments.
NAF Destroys TYLOO on Anubis
There was almost no contest on Anubis. Liquid won the first seven rounds in a row and completely took control of the map, with the score already at 11:1 by the end of the first half.
The standout player was NAF, who finished the map with 22 kills and a 2.60 rating - the highest single-map rating of his career. NAF also recorded two aces during the series, including one on Anubis, and became one of the key players in the match. Liquid had no trouble closing out the map 13:4 and completing the 2:0 series win.

Liquid Continue Their Playoff Push
Across the two maps, EliGE finished the match with 43 kills, 109.6 ADR, and a 1.67 rating. NAF ended the series with a 1.50 rating, while malbsMd added 1.36.
JamYoung was TYLOO’s best player despite the loss, recording 40 kills, 100.3 ADR, and a 1.38 rating. The rest of the lineup was unable to support him at the same level, especially on Anubis, where Liquid gave their opponents almost no room to recover.
The defeat ended TYLOO’s run in Beijing and was particularly disappointing after the team had also lost its chance to play at the Singapore Major due to withdrawing from HyperX Retake. Liquid, meanwhile, remain in contention and will face BetBoom in their next match. The winner of that series will claim the final Group B playoff spot.
