It wasn’t an elimination series, but the outcome mattered for both teams. MongolZ ensured easier passage to the playoffs and their place among the top four teams, while breaking FURIA’s seven-match winning streak. FURIA Take Inferno

The series started brightly for The MongolZ, as Techno pulled off an ace clutch early on the map. However, FURIA quickly regained control, with molodoy becoming the main factor as he consistently found important kills and helped the Brazilians turn the game around.

Despite resistance from The MongolZ, FURIA played the closing stages better and won Inferno 13:10. After the first map, the advantage was on the Brazilian side, especially with Cache coming next - a map where The MongolZ had lost their previous four matches in a row.

bLitz Turns Cache Around

Cache saw a complete shift in the game dynamics for The MongolZ team. The player who made an outstanding contribution on the map was bLitz, who played his best game of the tournament.

He achieved a critical double kill with Desert Eagle, got a 1v2 clutch and ended up with a 1.97 rating on the map. The MongolZ were much more confident in the key rounds and did not allow FURIA to take advantage of their statistical edge on the map.

The Mongolian lineup eventually won Cache 13:8 and sent the series to Dust2.

910 Leads The MongolZ to the Semifinals

The crucial match was very hard-fought. It was not easy for either side to gain a substantial margin since the lead kept on changing hands.

The crucial member of The MongolZ was 910, who made 26 kills in regulation and made room for his team members. FURIA responded through molodoy and YEKINDAR, but The MongolZ were more consistent in the final rounds and closed Dust2 13:11.

Across the entire series, 910 was The MongolZ’s best player with 61 kills and a 1.44 rating. molodoy was FURIA’s strongest performer, finishing the match with 57 kills and a 1.31 rating.
