Legacy ended their run at IEM Beijing 2026 after losing 1:2 to B8 in the lower bracket. The Ukrainian team won Dust2 13:11, lost Cache 6:13, and then closed out the deciding Mirage 13:9.
For Legacy, this is another disappointing result following a strong period in the first half of the season. Back in September, the team climbed to second place in the VRS rankings after winning FISSURE Playground 3, but their form has declined noticeably since ESL Pro League.
During that stretch, Legacy have won only three of 13 series, while the loss to B8 became their fourth consecutive defeat.

try Could Not Save Legacy on Dust2
The opening map was especially close. B8 managed to close Dust2 13:11 despite an outstanding performance from Santino “try” Rigal.
The Argentine sniper finished the map with a 27-12 record and was Legacy’s main source of kills. In one of the key moments, he even won a 1v4 clutch, but it was not enough to turn the map around.
B8 held onto their lead in the closing stages and moved ahead in the series.
Legacy Respond on Cache
Legacy looked much more confident on their second map. The team quickly took control and did not allow B8 to create the same kind of close battle as on Dust2.
Cache ended with a 13:6 victory for the Brazilian lineup, sending the series to Mirage.
However, B8 were once again more consistent on the deciding map.
The key player for the Ukrainian team was Andrii “npl” Kukharskyi. He continued his strong form after recording 25 kills on Dust2 and once again had a major impact on Mirage with successful opening duels, a 1v2 clutch, and a quad-kill.
B8 eventually closed the map 13:9 and secured the series victory.

B8 Continue Their Run in Beijing
Across the entire match, npl was B8’s best player with 54 kills and a 1.43 rating.
However, the highest rating in the series belonged to try at 1.42. He finished the match with a 57-29 record, but his individual form was not enough to keep Legacy in the tournament.
The loss is especially disappointing for the Brazilian team given their previous success in China. Legacy had previously won two CS Asia Championships events and FISSURE Playground 3, but this time their strong run of results in the region ended with an early exit.
B8 will now continue through the lower bracket and face NAVI in the next round.
